Admission

To embark on an enriching educational journey with us, prospective students are required to complete the Program Admission Application. Individuals must be a minimum of 16 years old, presenting valid proof of identification. For students under 18, parental or guardian consent is mandatory for enrollment. Notably, no High School diploma or GED is a prerequisite for admission.

In addition, applicants are expected to:

1.Language Proficiency -Exhibit proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.

2.Physical Fitness - Be in good health, demonstrating the ability to bend, twist, and lift at least 35 lbs.

3.Health Documentation - Provide current documentation of a TB test or chest x-ray within the past 12 months, confirming the absence of active TB and freedom from any communicable disease.

4.CNA Refresher Course Specifics - For those enrolling in the CNA refresher course, it's imperative not to be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry with negative findings.

Upon enrollment, each student will receive a Believe Health Institute physical form. It is imperative that this form is diligently completed and promptly returned, confirming that the physical examination was conducted within the past year. Additionally, a negative PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) result obtained within the last three (3) months is mandatory.

In the event of a positive PPD result, a chest X-ray is required to validate a true negative outcome. It's crucial to note that students will not be permitted to commence their clinical rotation until both the completed physical and PPD forms are submitted.
